We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Daniel Zumbühl (Surseer Woche) to Altishofen - he accompanied our driver Sebastian Meier on a tour with the electric truck: "E-mobility is about to conquer the transport and logistics industry. Galliker already has well over 30 electrically powered trucks in use. Sebastian Meier from Triengen is regularly on the road with them. This newspaper was recently allowed to accompany him."

Our first photovoltaic system was put into operation in 2012 - the existing PV network has now been expanded by 3,600 m2 to a total of 77,000 m2 in October 2023. Over 2,100 hours of sunshine now enable even more power in the Galliker network every year.

On the occasion of the 19th SIZ Care Forum on Friday, September 8, our employee Sepp Sattler was honored as a shining example of his way back to work. 

On August 2, 2023, 49 apprentices started their apprenticeship at Galliker Transport AG. They were all warmly welcomed by Rolf Galliker, co-owner of the family business, and their new vocational instructors. 

Galliker has been operating a branch at the Aclens site in western Switzerland since 2007. The transport and logistics company is now building a second logistics center for the healthcare and food sectors in the Vaudois municipality. In future, up to 17,400 pallets can be stored in an area of around 18,000 square meters. As everywhere else at Galliker, sustainability is a top priority.

Ten years of the European Food Network: The European partner network for temperature-controlled groupage transports was founded by twelve established logistics companies and has successfully developed further since 2013, positioning itself as an established player in the market. Currently, 23 network members serve 34 European countries for their customers with regular scheduled services and fixed transit times. In the last few weeks, we were able to put our own medium-voltage power grid into operation on the Altishofen / Dagmersellen company premises between Logistics Center 1 and 6. The buildings of our neighbor PanGas AG were also integrated.

At the beginning of October 2022, the logistics center of Imbach Logistik AG in Lucerne-Littau went into operation. Inside, the new building impresses with state-of-the-art technology: the fully auto-mated high-bay and small parts warehouse is based on forward-looking and space-saving solutions.
