The recently launched Galliker Academy World shows that people, customers and partners as well as employees play a decisive role in the development of the Swiss family business. Consisting of the Driver, Transport, Logistics, Technical, Business and IT Academies, this is where crucial knowledge is pooled, recorded and passed on to employees in a targeted manner. A particular focus is on training a total of around 140 apprentices, who are trained to become experts in their field in 17 apprenticeships.
The presence at ZEBI 2024 is particularly important for Galliker in terms of promoting the next generation, explains Paolo Studer, Head of the Galliker Academy: "It is becoming increasingly difficult for us to find apprentices in skilled trades. Apprenticeships in road transport are particularly challenging to fill these days. Our presence at the careers fair is intended to provide an insight into the world of work and show that exciting careers await motivated apprentices in the world of transport and logistics."
One highlight of the Galliker Academy's presence at ZEBI 2024 is the outdoor course, where interested young people have the opportunity to drive a truck themselves. In addition, the newly designed driving school vehicle - a truck as a mobile exhibition stand - invites visitors to immerse themselves in the 17 training worlds and the six different academies. A wide range of exciting background information about the professional worlds of transport and logistics awaits.
